Sker Ritual PC Controls

Keyboard and mouse defaults, rebind advice, and settings for wonder weapon quests.

Last updated:

Sker Ritual on PC uses standard keyboard and mouse FPS bindings with interact-heavy quest design across walkthrough maps. Wales Interactive allows full rebind in settings—critical for left-handed players and for binding ping to an accessible key during Ashes Dark Round code callouts. This page lists defaults, recommended tweaks for Hardcore Easter eggs, and movement tech for Nightmare clears.

Interact (E) handles cylinders on Lavernock, punch cards, cauldron ingredients, doll pickups, lighthouse mirrors on Tides, and Super Charger channels—hold until progress bar completes.

Mouse sensitivity: Start 800 DPI at 6–8 in-game sens for 360° tests around village spawn on Lavernock. Lower sens helps headshot Killerwatts during Dark Rounds.

Field of view: 90–100 horizontal. Extreme FOV distorts lane callouts in Sewers tunnels.

Toggle vs hold ADS: Hold for boss fights (Abraham, Isaac, Elisabeth); toggle optional for casual Normal clears.

Auto sprint: Off—Stamina matters for Rhiannon miracle synergy and conduit escort on Lavernock where sprinting drops quest items.

Subtitles: On for PA announcements on Ashes and Tides tide warnings.

Rebind suggestions

  • Move ping to a side mouse button if middle click conflicts with DPI switch
  • Move melee closer to WASD (e.g., F) if V feels awkward during Fortress Shattered Edge phases
  • Push-to-talk for co-op God Killer runs—open mic echo disrupts Stranger audio on Sewers

Full controller alternative on PC documented in controller guide if switching devices mid-session.

Movement tech

Slide-cancel: Sprint, crouch slide into doorways on House to maintain speed without full sprint noise on Quiet One aggro.

Jump peak: Useful for Abraham slam avoidance on Lavernock raised stone—jump on red ring edge.

Strafe firing: Circle Isaac on Ashes rooftop during thermal burst phase without backpedaling off ledge.

Practice in how to play before Nightmare.

PC-specific co-op with console

PC players often lead callouts—bind ping to quick access for punch card order and doll counts. Share Dark Round code screenshots in Discord when console players cannot easily capture HUD. See controls hub for cross-platform overview.

Hardware notes

Sker Ritual runs on modest GPUs per Steam page—prioritize stable 60 FPS over max settings; frame drops during Banshee waves cause missed melee trades. Wired mouse recommended for Super Charger channeling—wireless sleep can drop hold interact.

Pair control mastery with weapons tier list and beginner tips for economy rounds between quest steps.

Accessibility and input devices

Sker Ritual supports remapping for one-handed play—move forward and strafe to mouse side buttons if needed, and bind interact to a keyboard key within thumb reach. Steam Input can layer additional profiles for Steam Deck players who want touchpad ping. Colorblind players should enable enemy outline settings if available in the graphics menu; Quiet One silhouettes blur together in Sewers fog without contrast tweaks.

Quest interaction timing

Long-hold interact prompts fail if you take damage mid-channel. Clear the immediate area before starting Super Charger sessions or cauldron brews on Sewers. For punch card inserts on Ashes, tap interact once—double-tapping can cancel the animation. Cylinder placement on Lavernock uses instant interact; sprint past the altar only after all three colors register in the vault UI.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers tied to this page.

What is interact on PC?

Default E key. Hold for valves, Super Charger, and long quest interactions until the progress bar finishes.

Can I rebind all keys?

Yes through in-game settings. Rebind ping and melee for comfort on quest-heavy maps.

Best sensitivity for headshots?

Start moderate—800 DPI at 6–8 in-game. Lower helps Dark Round Killerwatt headshots on Ashes.

Should I sprint during Lavernock conduit escort?

No on mouse. Controller on PC gets aim assist—see controller page.

Where are controller bindings?

See controller controls page for PlayStation and Xbox layout on console or PC pad.
