Sker Ritual Controls Hub

Sker Ritual supports keyboard and mouse on PC plus full controller support on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox since the April 2024 1.0 launch. Wales Interactive designed round-based co-op around standard FPS controls—movement, aim, interact for quests, and revive teammates during wonder weapon escorts. Mixed PC and controller squads are common; aligning interact timing matters for Ashes punch cards and Fortress doll lockdowns. This hub links platform-specific binding pages and notes settings that affect Hardcore Easter egg success.

Default action map

Core actions are consistent across platforms with different inputs:

  • Move / Aim: WASD + mouse or left stick + right stick
  • Fire / ADS: Left click / right click or RT / LT
  • Interact / Use: E or X / Square — used for cylinders, punch cards, cauldron ingredients, dolls
  • Reload: R or X / Square context
  • Melee: V or RS / R3
  • Sprint / Slide: Shift or L3
  • Grenade / Throwable: G or LB / L1
  • Ping / Mark: Middle mouse or D-pad up

Interact hold duration applies to Super Charger stations and valve turns on Sewers—do not release early.

Cross-platform co-op tips

When PC and console players mix:

  • Agree ping key for Dark Round head codes on Ashes—screenshot codes on PC, photograph on console share works too
  • Controller aim assist helps Killerwatt headshots; PC players should prioritize elite callouts
  • Set similar field of view on PC if squad compares lane coverage—extreme FOV skews callouts on Lavernock village lanes

See PC controls for rebinding and controller guide for aim assist curves.

Audio settings for mechanics

Several maps rely on audio cues:

  • Sewers Stranger pipe whispers
  • House ceiling drop creaks
  • Tides tide PA announcements

Use headphones or stereo speakers; mono TV speakers make Stranger ambushes harder. Subtitle options help PA announcements but not all whispers.

Accessibility

Sker Ritual offers aim assist tiers on controller, colorblind modes for cylinder and punch card UI, and adjustable look sensitivity. Hardcore no-damage phases still require situational awareness—accessibility options do not bypass fail conditions.

New players should read how to play after binding controls. Beginner tips cover movement tech like slide-cancel routing on Fortress gallery. For combat loadouts after controls are set, open weapons and miracles builds.

Sensitivity and muscle memory

Stick to one input device per Hardcore session if possible—switching from mouse to controller mid God Killer run changes headshot timing on Ashes Killerwatts. Rebind interact to a comfortable key before attempting Fortress candle routes where damage from fumbled inputs fails Hardcore. Most wipes on control settings come from hold-interact releases during Super Charger channels, not from aim deficiency.
